Operations Manager / Logistics Manager - Logistics - Iraq

 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and committed Operations Manager / Logistics Manager to work for a leading international logistics company within their operations in Iraq.

 

The successful Operations Manager / Logistics Manager will be responsible for all logistical activities whilst on site

 

Responsibilities include:

 

•             Managing day to day logistics activities

•             Project logistics movement management

•             Looking after and managing HSE activities

•             Working closely with key clients and building positive working relationships

•             Working closely with senior management

•             Managing an international workforce

 

Personal Requirements:

 

•             Previous experience of working in Iraq is highly advantageous

•             A strong background within the logistics industry is a must

•             Knowledge of HSE is highly desirable

•             HSE qualifications such as NEBOSH is preferable but not essential

•             Excellent communication skills are essential
