Position Description
  • Work with the subsurface team and the OPCO to optimize reservoir performance and management within the brownfield re-development.
  • Help develop an Integrated Reservoir-Surveillance Process in APUS that is organized and assesses the quality and value of information and data.
  • Evaluate historical reservoir-management and –optimization strategies and data acquisitions.
  • Estimate reserves, forecast fluids, input to business plan and track reserves migrations related to business plan.
  • Provide input for economics and risk assessments for on-going and proposed projects.
  • Work with the subsurface team to provide integrated reservoir assessments and necessary technical documentation and development plans.
  • Develop integrated subsurface depletion plan and life of field estimate.
  • Actively monitor reservoir behavior, depletion trends, pressure support and remaining potential.
  • Recommend and perform reservoir simulations and integrate reservoir management studies with subsurface mapping and modeling.
  • Liaise with corporate and OPCO specialists to maximize project delivery, optimization strategies, data quality control and quality of service assess
Position Requirements
  • BSc degree in Petroleum Engineering
  • Minimum 8 – 10 years of Industry Experience
  • Production Operations and Monitoring Experience
  • Travel as necessary to Europe and West Africa
  • Well and Reservoir Management – ARIES, Black Oil Simulation (Eclipse), Nodal Analysis, Petrel RE, IPM forecasting and facility screening, PTA, PLT analysis, OFM, PIPESIM.
  • Petrel RE and Petrophysical evaluation considered optional, but a plus.
  • Microsoft Office Suite
