VisionFund International (VFI) works in partnership with WV and helps to improve the lives of children in the developing world by offering small loans and other financial services to families living in poverty. About the Job:  Vision Fund is seeking a Senior Audit Manager. S/he will will be responsible for auditing MFIs for the global centre (GC) team at VisionFund International. Tasks and Responsibilities:  Develop and manage appropriate global audit programs based on the VFI operating model and standards and the underlying risks including; Lending/portfolio reviews, operational controls, banking systems security, financial reporting, fraud prevention, etc.; Local regulatory requirements are incorporated in all audit work and reporting. Identify all potential risks in the MFIs, taking into account operational and other changes being implemented in the MFI network; Review, develop, and work with a team to implement audit programs for VFI GC; Oversee and manage effectiveness of MFI audit programs and keep both VFI audit director and COO apprised of trends and issues; Advise VFI management concerning risks, internal controls, fraud prevention and detection, and the efficient and effective use of resources; Work with World Vision International group internal audit (GIA) to enhance audit methodologies and frameworks appropriate to microfinance; Assist VFI audit director and VFI COO with preparation for board audit committee meeting. Qualifications:  University degree; At least 7 years of experience of internal audit in a financial environment; Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) and Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) qualification; Experience with a “Big 4” public accounting firm preferred; Excellent speaking and writing skills required; Willing and able to travel up to 75% of the time.
