Business Development/Proposals Engineer – Oil and Gas Industry - Nigeria

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and committed Business Development/Proposals Engineer to work for a leading international support services company within their operations in Nigeria. The Business Development/Proposals Engineer is responsible for business development and proposals work for the company, and to liaise between operations and sales.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed work plan for project tender 

• To attend potential client meetings and support  BD marketing activities

• Prepare and/or co-ordinate the preparation of all procedures necessary for the tender and ensure timely completion;

• Evaluate bid submissions and prepare evaluations for review 

• Maintain Sales pipeline and business development databases.

• Review bid documents and prepare requests for clarifications;

• Prepare overall man-hour estimate based on discipline input;

• Decide on selection of technical qualifications and compile technical sections of bid proposals

Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience in the offshore oil industry is a must

• Experience within a catering environment is beneficial
