Sequoian Investments is a private money lender. Sequoian specializes in providing short-term financing for Commercial and Residential real estate such as Office, Retail, Industrial and Multi-Family. Sequoian only finances business use loans - not consumer financing.
We are looking for a writer who can pick up the latest news from the industry and post it with some brief analysis and insight.

We're looking for someone well versed in REAL ESTATE, stock, ETF and forex trading to contribute thoughtful, opinionated, passionate articles for our daily news blog. Our site has a following of socially and economically conservative investors who are considering taking their personal investing into their own hands. General commentary on the US and world economies, trading advice, currency trends, the hot ETFs right now... if this is your passion, then let's talk.

WEB GHOST WRITING:
We are looking for someone to write 500-700 of content regarding a list of 50 frequent questions asked by our clients. Below is an example of the 50 topics we seek content for:
What is a hard money loan?
Where can I get a hard money loan?
What is a private money loan?
What is the difference between hard money and private money?

BLOG:
WRITING TOPICS:
Once the writer has answered the 50 questions, we will need weekly articles for our blog. You should be comfortable with writing on a variety of credit and finance topics


ARTICLE REQUIREMENTS:
- Understanding of the real estate and mortgage industries and Wall Street

- Ability to monitor news and write in near real time

- Ability to post 2-4 times per week (depending on agreement reached)

- Engaging writer with a sharp wit and strong voice
Articles must be at least 500 words
The article must be posted in Wordpress.
Include at least two images in each article.
Intelligent linking of post content to related subject matter and/or to related posts in the same blog
Assign one primary and a few sub-categories to each post
Tag all posts

Be creative, critical, and articulate
Have strong research/analysis skills. Check facts well.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Be familiar with writing for the web and for impatient online audiences.
Must have a degree in business, finance, or law (Master's Degree Preferred!)
Extensive experience in business writing
Writing samples are required
