We are currently looking for a Financial Manager with experience working in Africa and in the agricultural sector.

Finance Manager - Based in Kenya

Main responsibilities:

•  The financial reporting on project performance to Project Manager's and Principals within the sector.
• Provide financial support, monthly financial reporting and financial management assistance to GM,
• Supporting Project Manager's with project control, namely: budgets, profit/ cost forecasts, variation orders, etc.
• Coach and supervise Project Administrators and Project Manager's and project reporting, etc.
• Assist Chief Financial Officer/Corporate Financial Manager with regards to identifying financial concerns and risk.
• Other ad hoc activities as requested by the Chief Financial Officer/Corporate Financial Manager or GM.
• Coordination of budget process within the sector.

·         Cost Control Experience
·         Experience in raising funds
·         Auditing experience
·         Ability to set up a finance department.
Minimum qualifications:
·         Finance degree
·         Chartered accountant
·         Minimum of ten years’ experience
·         Familiar with Africa Ohada Acts
·         Qualified CPA or CA
·         Strong agri-business experience
·         Extensive experience in Sugar
·         Excellent financial and administrative skills
·         Good communication skills both written and verbal
·         Experience working in an engineering consulting environment is preferable.
·         French would be advantageous.
