About the Job:
AfID is seeking a Volunteer Accountant. S/he will work with the partner organization and will help them in updating all accounting records. S/he will also help in preparing year-end accounts. The partner organization works towards women empowerment through income generation activity, social microfinance, and sexual and reproductive health in rural Ghana.

Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Ensure that the bank and other balance sheet accounts have been reconciled;
- Asses whether the recurring and other journals have been regularly entered;
- Asses whether stock taking has been completed accurately;
- Assist with future financial planning;
- Assist with preparation of a finance manual.
