Production Manager – Rubber and Timber – East Africa

 

An exciting role has arisen for an experienced Production Manager to work for a leading international rubber and timber company within their plantation operations in East Africa. 

 

The successful Production Manager will be responsible for all aspects of production, and maintenance for a large rubber and timber company.

 

Responsibilities will include:

 

• All aspects of managing on site

• Managing the production units

• Managing farm managers

• Monitoring and enforcing HSE initiatives 

• Manage and train local staff 

• Managing quality controls

• Working closely with the business development team

• P& L management

  

Personal Requirements:

 

• At least 5 years’ experience in a similar position

• Must have previous rubber or timber production experience 

• Previous experience of working in an overseas remote environment is extremely advantageous

• Working with and managing other country nationals is highly desirable
