OUR MicroLending, incepted in 2007, is a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) that serves the financial needs of microentrepreneurs in South Florida though microcredits. It also offers alternative financial services for entrepreneurs whose needs are not met by regular banking.
About the Job:
OUR MicroLending is seeking a Business Development Officer as an unpaid intern to support and assist the organization's team of microfinance officers and specialists in their multiple tasks. The position is based in Miami.
Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Assist with client analysis;
• Conduct application process;
• Clients' record tracking;
• Support microfinance specialists on project tasks;
• Research and identify potential clients;
• Customer service.

Qualifications:

• Undergraduate junior or senior or Graduate student;
• Bilingual English and Spanish;
• Strong communications skills;
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
• Knowledge of microfinance business model.
