About the Job:
Global Partnerships is seeking a Health Services Fund Analyst. S/he will be responsible for managing a portfolio of initiatives. This position is based in Nicaragua and it reports to the Vice President.
Global Partnerships is seeking a Health Services Fund Analyst. S/he will be responsible for managing a portfolio of initiatives. This position is based in Nicaragua and it reports to the Vice President.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Business plan development that defines the proposed investment by GP;
- Relationship management with partner organizations, including provision of direct technical assistance to partners related to all aspects of health services model design and implementation;
- Knowledge management both from within and outside the organizations' portfolio of investments;
- Investment oversight, ensuring that investments are tracking towards objectives and that GP investors are engaged and updated as needed on HSF progress.
Qualifications:
- MBA or related Graduate degree, focus on social enterprise, NGO management, and/or Economic analysis preferred;
- Bilingual working proficiency (written and spoken) in English and Spanish;
- Demonstrated capacity for strategic, business-minded, and analytical thinking through previous work experience and education;
- High comfort level with both quantitative data/program indicators and enterprise strategy/leadership dynamics;
- Demonstrated experience working successfully with/through partner organizations;
- Demonstrated project design and implementation skills;
- Direct experience living/working in Latin America, preferably with social enterprises preferred;
- Field experience in developing countries involving microfinance and health services preferred;
- Entrepreneurial and start-up mindset;
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office products;
- Passion for GP's mission and working style that embraces innovation and learning.
