With a joint reporting line to the Head of Human Resources for the MEA region and the CEO West Africa, you will be responsible for the generalist HR function and various projects for the West Africa region. The region encompasses Ghana, Senegal, Mali, Burkina Faso, Côte d’Ivoire, Cameroon, Nigeria and the role will be based in Tema, Ghana, the regional hub for West Africa.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain close contact with the CEO WAF, Head of HR MEA and the different country managers across the region 
• Manage day to day HR issues: be the first point of contact for all HR related queries and requests: pay, contracts, new starters, recruitment, training, compensation and benefits 
• Assist and work alongside managers with their team management: organization, talent management, development of competencies, performance management, and employee relations 
• Manage and or create HR policies for all countries 
• Management and implementation of specific HR projects across the region 
• Manage all recruitment for the region 
• Follow up of performance management in workday, regular update of workday
• Reporting, managing the budget
• HR admin: social security, insurance, absence management, contracts, work certificates…

EXPERIENCE

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar function, within a multinational company
• Good HR project management skills 
• HR system knowledge would be an advantage

SKILLS

• Flexible, dynamic and solution orientated 
• Good interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in an autonomous way, with minimal supervision 
• Good knowledge of Excel

LANGUAGES

- English (Fluent)
- French (Fluent)

EDUCATION

• Degree in Human Resources or equivalent
