About the Job:
SPTF is seeking a Responsible Inclusive Finance Manager. S/he will lead and coordinate projects to help advance a responsible, inclusive microfinance industry.
SPTF is seeking a Responsible Inclusive Finance Manager. S/he will lead and coordinate projects to help advance a responsible, inclusive microfinance industry.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Convene and coordinate group of senior leaders from each of the major responsible finance initiatives, to determine how to best advance, align, and streamline responsible finance practices within the microfinance sector;
- Ensure project management documentation timelines, work plans, minutes, reports, summaries etc. is updated, recorded, and reported, as needed;
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary virtual team;
- Manage and support other projects as needed;
- Provide event planning and logistics support at the SPTF annual meeting;
- Some travel required (about 15%).
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in International Affairs, International Development, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or relevant field.
- At least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience;
- Knowledge of and passion for the microfinance industry, enterprise development, financial inclusion, and social performance;
- Outstanding writing, research, and presentation skills;
- Strong relationship management skills;
- Ability to prioritize, stay organized, take initiative, and self-manage;
- Ability to interact effectively with a variety of people at senior and other levels internally and externally in an international and multicultural environment;
- Proficiency in a foreign language (French, Spanish, or Arabic preferred).
