Country Manager - Shipping / Logistics - Opportunities in Africa and the Middle East
An exciting role has arisen for an experienced and committed Country Manager to work for a leading international Shipping and Logistics company. Roles are available throughout the Middle East and Africa.
The successful Country Manager will be responsible for the day to day operations of a busy Shipping and Logistics operations within a country. Additional responsibilities will include:
• Management of day to day operations
• Formulation and implementation of annual and short-term business plan and objectives
• Continually look to improve process and Shipping and Logistics operations
• Develop policies and processes
• Commercial Manager
• Lead sales and business development initiatives
• Develop positive client relationships
• Manage a multi-national workforce
• Working closely with other Senior Management within the company
• P/L Management
• HSE and Quality Management
Personal Requirements:
• Must have a strong background in the Shipping / Logistics industry
• Previous P&L Management experience is a must
• You must have experience of both Operational and Commercial activities
• Must have managerial experience within the industry
• Previous experience working in either the Middle East or Africa is extremely advantageous
• Experience of managing a multinational workforce is preferable
• Must be an excellent communicator
