Agency Manager - Shipping - French & English Speaking - West Africa
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and committed Agency Manager for a leading international Shipping company within their operations in West Africa.
The successful Agency Manager will be responsible for all activities of the shipping agency, responsibilities will include:
• Managing the day-to-day operations
• Managing berthing / unberthing, ship husbandry services, liaising with the port and stevedoring activities.
• Responsible for Agency business development and sales
• Manage and develop key clients
• Producing monthly and quarterly reports
• Work closely with senior management in the company
• General administration and financial responsibilities as and when required
• Manage and co-ordinate a multinational team
Personal Requirements:
• Previous experience within Agency Management is a must
• Experience of living and working within West Africa is advantageous
• Business Development experience is highly beneficial
• Fluency in both English and French is a must
• Experience of managing a multi-national team will be looked upon favourably
