Finance Manager - Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and committed Finance Manager to work for a leading international Oil and Gas service provider within their operations in Tanzania.
The successful Finance Manager will be responsible for managing all financial operations within Tanzania. Responsibilities will include:
• Manage all accounting functions within Tanzania
• Be responsible for both local and international financial reporting
• Be a lead on all day to day accounting transactions
• Manage a multinational Finance team
• Ensure compliance with group financial policies
• Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly and yearly reports
• Be involved in financial forecasting
• Manage financial accounting, monitoring and reporting systems
• Provide and interpret financial information
• Provide financial support as needed
Personal Requirements:
• Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in international accounting
• Must be CIMA, ACCA or CPA qualified
• A degree in either Finance or Accounting would be advantageous
• Must have experience within the Oil and Gas or Oil and Gas Service industry
• Experience of living and working in East Africa is highly desirable
• Must be fluent in English
• Must be able to work to and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication skills are a must
