Senior Fleet Manager - Liberia

We are currently looking for a Senior Fleet Manager with experience managing large fleet operations

The role is based in a remote location in Liberia therefore remote site experience is high advantages 

 

Responsibilities:

• Manage operation and maintenance of our earth moving / land development machine fleet to prepare oil palm planting land, roads, housing areas

• Managing over 100 pieces of Equipment – bulldozers, excavators, graders, loaders – Caterpillar brand - across 3-4 sites

• Budget controller for fleet and workshop.

• Manage maintenance and repairs, meeting availability and maintenance cost targets

• Train local national candidates 

• Operate to highest safety and environmental standards

• Work hand in hand with operating management, social and environmental teams to specify, implement, monitor and continuously improve heavy equipment working practices

Requirements: 

• Experience in CAT fleet management of operations, maintenance, capex planning, safety and environmental compliance

• Experience and track record in land development projects is an advantage, other experience in infrastructure works and open pit mining is also useful
