Customer Channel Marketing Manager
Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Customer Channel Marketing Manager to be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of the activation plan that supports the objectives of Company brands and the customer.
Minimum Requirements/Criteria include:
• Bachelors Degree - preferably in Marketing, Brand Development or Business Management or similar (essential)
• Minimum of 4-6 years relevant and practical Customer Marketing and/or Brand Building experience within the FMCG/Communications space (essential)
• Proven selling and negotiation skills
• A passion for the Customer (customer facing experience a must)
• Experience within Southern or Central Africa a strong advantage
• Exceptional communication skills (written and spoken)
• Ability to speak French and/or Portuguese is a must
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
• Supporting the development and execution of brand/category solutions & activities for Customer/ Channels based on fully integrated, shopper, customer and channel insights
• Working with Country managers to ensure excellence in in-store activation and delivery of integrated Customer Business Plan and Customer Marketing Plan
• Communicating the customer’s marketing and business strategy to the brand teams
• Developing strong relationships with Customers at marketing and activation level
• Leading the execution of plans & activities including customized offerings (incl. special packs, channel specific packs)
• Analyzing the ROI of the marketing activities executed with the customer
Location: Successful incumbent will primarily be based in Durban - South Africa.
Travel: 60 - 70% - in South Africa and Southern & Central Africa
