Position Description |
Job Purpose/Summary Participate in the execution of the audit plan in all locations where we operate (mostly in Africa and Middle East); Prepare the audit fieldwork; Work with autonomy and will lead from A to Z technical audit projects; Will bring support for technical aspects to other audit projects. Key Accountabilities/Result Area The audit plan generally consists of: Giving assurance on the effectiveness of certain internal processes, procedures, project governance; Providing consulting activities for identified risks to develop a mitigating plan. Participate to reviews to ensure that efficient use is made of resources and/or value for money is considered; Follow up on closure of the most critical issues identified in previous audits. The auditor will have to identify the most important levers and come with adding value recommendation on the way the company is conducting its operations in order to improve the bottom line. The key focus will be operations: production (on-shore and off-shore), transportation, sub-surface management, etc. |

Technical Competencies Petroleum technologies Reservoir management Production techniques Reserves analysis Behavioural Competencies Critical minded Team player and willing to share expertise with other auditors Excellent interpersonal skills and is able to promote the results of audits within the company and get the buying of key players in the remediation of key audit issues; Able to demonstrate the added-value of the work performed in helping people in designing their action plan; Willing to travel mostly in Africa an in Middle East, up to 50% of his time Experience/Qualifications 15 years of oil and gas experience minimum required as production technologist and/or reserves analyst, ideally in service companies Good knowledge of oil and gas main technical standards (Reserves and production) Project management SPE certified engineer MBA a plus Fluent in English (French being an asset) |
