Opportunity Type: Job Kaebauk Investimentu no Finansa East Timor About the Organization:  Kaebauk Investimentu no Finansa, SA (KIF) is a proposed entity of Tuba Rai Metin (TRM) for its operations after other deposit taking institution (ODTI) permission. TRM is a microfinance organization that serves Timorese women and small businesses. It facilitates financial inclusion process in in Timor Leste through its services in microcredit, microinsurance, and microsaving. About the Job:  KIF is seeking a General Manager. S/he will implement the KIF strategy and vision in order to to provide the best possible services to its customers. Tasks and Responsibilities:  Responsible for overall management of the company; Represents and acts on behalf of the company in all matters; Implements long term strategic and annual plans; Develops and implements operational policies and procedures; Conducts risk assessments and manages risk; Ensures that internal control and risk management systems are in place and function properly; Develops and implements appropriate business models for ensuring high-quality asset growth; Monitors ongoing performance and operation of the company; Oversees the execution of marketing strategies and related promotional activities; Ensures adequacy of human resources, management information, and control systems; Ensures corporate adherence to applicable domestic and international laws; Develops and implements a culture of accountability and transparency across the company; Supervises preparation of required public reporting and disclosure; Briefs the board and shareholders at regular meetings; Manages long term relationships with key stakeholders. Qualifications:  Post graduate qualification in Finance, Economics, Management, Law, or related area; At least 5 years of experience related to the role; Senior level management experience with analytical and leadership skills; Expertise and experience in micro banking or microfinance institutions; Knowledge of law, regulation, and industry best practice; Able to capitalize on business development and growth opportunities; High level communication and interpersonal skills; High level coordination and management skills; High level of personal and professional organization; High level of written and oral language skills in Tetum and English.
