The project Simandou , Guinea is a global project within the Rio Tinto Diamonds & Minerals division.This will involve the construction and operation of an iron ore mine with the construction of railway and deepwater port. The project is in the phase of detailed technical assessment (DEA) with the continuation of infrastructure development at the mine and port.
Your role
The Financial Control Manager (Finance Manager) manages the team responsible for financial reporting and is responsible for signing the consolidated financial statements of all the Simandou project. This role includes the management of all financial systems, processes, reporting and compliance for the Simandou project.
Your responsibilities will include:
· Lead and develop the Finance Team
· Supervision of financial reporting - establishment of local financial statements and the Group
· Ensure that the financial statements are accurate, complete and timely products
· Ensure compliance of the Simandou project with local accounting standards and those of Rio Tinto Group (IFRS)
· Oversee the disbursement process
· Ensure that systems and processes are in place for payment of adequate and timely suppliers
· Oversee the preparation of the annual budget to reporting in Hyperion
· Oversee the systems and processes associated with compliance with current standards and risk management
· Manage the annual process of risk management and ensure that the actions identified are properly carried
· Maintain a framework of internal control relevant to the project
· Oversee cash management Simandou, ensuring compliance with the standards of management of the Group's cash, good relationships with local banks and good liquidity (cash and bank)
· Ensure that reliable processes are in place for all financial transactions
· Work in a manner consistent with the principles of "The Way We Work."
· Know, understand, communicate and enforce the HSEQ policy Diamonds & Minerals division of Rio Tinto Simandou standards and project management system Simandou HSEC.
Your profile
· University degree in Accounting and Finance recognized, if possible supplemented by an MBA
· Good communication and good interpersonal skills
· Solid experience in analyzing financial data with a strong ability to make judgments about data quality.A comfortable with IFRS, and type systems SAP, Dynamics ...
· Ability to manage and handle confidential data
· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
· Ability to develop new systems and processes in the field of finance, always associating health / appearance Safety / Environment
